Apply for a New Emirates ID
This service enables the customer to obtain a new Identity Card for the first time
- Emirates ID is an identity card issued by Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security-ICP
- It is a legal requirement for all UAE citizens and residents to apply for one and carry it with them at all times
- The Emirates ID is used: to get government services,
- as a document to pass immigration through the eGates and smart gates at several airports in the UAE

- Service is mandatory; biometrics must be completed on time to avoid cancellation
- Individuals who have completed 15 years of age are required to complete the fingerprint and signature procedures through the Authority’s service centers
- If the customer wishes to apply for the urgent service, they are required to visit the Authority’s service center directly to initiate the procedures through the service officer
- The application will be canceled if the procedures are not completed or if the required modifications to the returned applications for amendment are not made within the specified period
- The personal photograph must comply with the standards approved by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)
Emirates ID Renewal
This service enables the renewal of the Identity Card if it has expired or if less than six months remain before its expiry
- Emirates ID is an identity card issued by Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security-ICP
- It is a legal requirement for all UAE citizens and residents to apply for one and carry it with them at all times
- The Emirates ID is used: to get government services,
- as a document to pass immigration through the eGates and smart gates at several airports in the UAE

- Renewal of an expired passport is required prior to applying for the renewal of the Identity Card.
- Individuals who have completed 15 years of age are required to complete the fingerprint and signature procedures through the Authority’s service centers
- Complete the necessary procedures to fulfill the application requirements (in case the application is returned for modification)
- The application will be canceled if the procedures are not completed or if the required modifications to the returned applications for amendment are not made within the specified period
- The application may be submitted by the head of the family, a legally authorized representative, a guardian, or the applicant themselves if they have reached the legal age
- A late fee of AED 20 per day is charged after one month from the expiry date, up to a maximum of AED 1,000
- If the customer wishes to apply for the urgent service, they are required to visit the Authority’s service center directly to initiate the procedures through the service officer
Replacement for lost \ damaged ID Card
This service allows the customer to apply for the issuance of a new Identity Card as a replacement for a lost or damaged card, with the new card issued for the same validity period as the original card

- The new Identity Card is issued with the same validity period as the lost or damaged card.
- If the customer wishes to apply for the urgent service, they must visit the Authority’s service center directly to initiate the procedures through the service officer
- The application will be canceled if the procedures are not completed or if the required amendments to the returned applications for modification are not made within the specified period
- Anyone who has completed 15 years of age must complete fingerprinting and signature procedures through the service centers affiliated with the Authority
- The personal photograph must comply with the standards approved by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)
New Born Baby Emirates ID
For children no need to visit Emirates ID Service Center for fingerprint and photo capture
